Alpha
For anyone who’s curious, Alpha is fun, free, and has friendly sessions designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open and informal environment. No question is off-limits, and you’re free to share as much or as little as you like.
We run Alpha twice a year at Holy Redeemer, typically on a Saturday at brunch time.

Baptism
Our journey of faith begins with Holy Baptism, the first of the Sacraments of Initiation. Through Baptism, we are freed from sin, reborn as children of God, and incorporated into Christ and his Church. By the gift of new life in the Holy Spirit, we are called to follow Christ and to grow in holiness as members of his Body.
At Holy Redeemer, we regularly administer the Sacrament of Baptism for Infants. Twice a year, the Bishop of Fulham joins us to administer this Sacrament for adults, too.
To find out more, please email Fr Sam.

Confirmation
In the Sacrament of Confirmation the Bishop invokes the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, sealing the baptized with the gift first given at Pentecost. Through this anointing, we are strengthened to bear witness to Christ, to live our faith more fully, and to serve God and others with courage in word and example
We recommend that those considering this Sacrament first complete the Alpha course. Alongside this, we run a Catechesis course one-to-one and as a group. Email Fr Sam for more information.
